Outside of my fiction and essay writing, I immerse myself in my job at GrubStreet, a nonprofit arts organization committed to making sure writers have access to creative writing support regardless of background, education, or ability to pay. Included in my job is working with amazing emerging and established artists through our teaching and emerging writer fellowships along with our mentorship programs. As a first generation American, I’ve lived through the challenges that come with a lack resources and artistic support during my earlier years, so I tend to gravitate toward work projects that help create easier paths for my fellows writers.

I am also a graduate of GrubStreet’s Novel Incubator program where I pushed the boundaries of my current novel-in-progress, Lennox Uncharted.

You can sometimes find me podcasting and live storytelling, just to shake things up. My non-literary indulgences are bubble tea, quilting, and NCAA basketball/cycling fandom.
